1920s–1940s

1929	Founded Takahata Industry Co., Ltd. Kanzaburo Takahata, the founder, started Takahata Industry Co., Ltd., in Jujo, Kita-ku, Tokyo. The company mainly manufactured water meters for the present Bureau of Waterworks, Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
1929	Started to process parts for water meters.
1943	Constructed the Kofu plant. Started the manufacture and sales of water meters Started processing metal from the repair of meters.

1950s–1970s

1950	Manufactured molding dies for gears.
1959	Constructed the Tokyo plant.
1963	Shifted from metal gears to plastic gears and then established resin gears.
1964	Made high precision plastic molding.
1965	Refinement and complication of molding production.
1973	Founded Yutaka Seiki, Ltd. Founded Takahata Kogyo Co., Ltd., and made the marketing division an independent company.
1970s	Started metal insert molding.

1980s–1990s

1980	Reorganized the group and founded Sanpou Co., Ltd.
1984	Founded Takahata Seiko Co., Ltd.
1987	Changed the name from Sanpou Co., Ltd., to Takahata Enterprise Co., Ltd.
1990	Founded Takahata Precision (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia
1991	Founded Takahata Precision (Thailand) Ltd. in Thailand
1995	Constructed the Takahata Precision (Thailand) Ltd. hi-tech factory in Thailand
1997	Founded Takahata (H.K.) Co., Ltd., in Hong Kong.

2000s

2001	Constructed the Takahata (H.K.) Co., Ltd., Shenzhen factory.
2002	Takahata Seiko Co., Ltd., merged with Takahata Kogyo Co., Ltd.,and became Takahata Seiko Co., Ltd. Founded Takahata Seiko (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., in Suzhou, China. Founded Takahata Precision America, Inc., in Tennessee, USA.
2005	Founded Takahata Precision Vietnam Co., Ltd., in Haiphong Vietnam.
2005	Change the name from Yutaka Seiki Co., Ltd., to Minobu Takahata Seiko Co., Ltd.
2006	Constructed the Hi-Tech II Factory (third factory) in Thailand.
2008	Founded Takahata Holding & Technology Pte. Ltd. in Singapore.

First half of 2010s

2010	Founded Takahata Precision Kyushu Co., Ltd. Changed the name from Minobu Takahata Seiko Co., Ltd., to Takahata Precision Minobu Co., Ltd. Changed the name from Takahata Seiko (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., to Takahata Precision (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. Changed the name from Takahata Moulding Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. to Takahata Precision Moulding Sdn. Bhd. Founded Takahata Precision India Pvt. Ltd. in India. Founded Aquiba PTY. LTD. in Australia. Changed the name from Takahata Seiko Co., Ltd., to Takahata Precision Co., Ltd.
2011	Made the molding business division of Takahata Precision Co., Ltd., independent and founded Takahata Precision Fine Mold Co., Ltd.
2012	Changed the name from Takahata Precision Co., Ltd., toTakahata Precision Japan Co., Ltd. Changed the name from Takahata Precision America, Inc., to Takahata Precision Tennessee Inc. Constructed Takahata Precision (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., Factory 2 in Suzhou, China.
2013	Constructed Takahata Precision (Thailand) Ltd. Rayong factory in Thailand. Transferred the molding business division of Takahata precisionfine mold Co., Ltd., to Takahata Precision Japan Co., Ltd.

Latter half of 2010s

2017	Handed over the domestic production business division of Takahata Precision Japan Co., Ltd., to Takahata Precision Minobu Co., Ltd. Changed the name from Takahata Precision Minobu Co., Ltd., to Takahata Precision Yamanashi Co., Ltd. Founded Takahata Precision España S. L.
2018	Changed the name from Takahata Precision Japan Co., Ltd., to Takahata Precision Co., Ltd.
2019	Founded Takahata Precision Research Center in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Founded Takahata Hi-Tech (Shenzhen) CO., LTD. in Shenzhen, China.

2020s

2024	Partially transferring shares of TAKAHATA PRECISION INDIA PVT. LTD. to Shriram Pistons & Rings Limited group The company name changes to SPR TAKAHATA PRECISION INDIA PVT. LTD.
