At a young age (14) I was introduced to the technology and innovation within the Takahata Precision group. The county school systems provided students with the opportunity to “Job Shadow” for 1 day and I chose to shadow my father, Anthony Newport. Through this experience my eyes were opened to the possibilities that Takahata presents, in terms of global company growth as well as individual growth.

I mainly studied metals when I was a student, so I wanted to work for a company where I
could use what I had learned. When I participated in my internship, I learned about the monozukuri of molding and plastic.
I had the feeling that I would enjoy monozukuri at Takahata and decided to work for the company.
